Vice President - Finance Control - Banking

Our client, a prominent global financial institution providing an extensive array of services, is currently seeking a seasoned Vice President to take the helm of their Finance team. This opportunity is tailored for the Business Technology Domain, and you will be responsible for delivering all desired outcomes to support the Investment Finance Group's Financial Control and FP&A requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Design, implement, and maintain effective financial control frameworks, policies, and procedures.

- Ensure financial activities are in line with established controls and compliance standards.

- Develop and update control documentation, process flows, and control matrices.

- Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews with Investments Head, preparing financials, analytics, and presentations.

- Coordinate and support forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles with Business Finance Head.

- Manage the impact on business performance due to changes in upstream or downstream processes and systems.

- Establish controls for reports generated, addressing risks and driving corrective actions.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost and balance sheet for Investments.

- Proven experience in business finance, financial analysis, Financial Control, Transformation.

- Preferably person coming with Banking Industry.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- At least 13-15 years of experience in Business Finance, Financial Control, Performance Management.

- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and compliance principles.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information.

- The ability to lead and develop a team as well as work effectively with senior management levels.

- Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in working directly with clients.
