Our client is a leading NBFC focussing on wholesale lending. They are looking for a VP finance, who will be leading the finance team and reporting to the finance head. Major Responsibilities Finance &amp; Accounts : - Responsible for Finance and Accounts function including taxation, audit and related regulatory compliance. - Preparation of Books as per IND-AS ( IFRS) - Preparation of Quarterly Advance Tax and Deferred tax workings also overseeing monthly Tax computation - RBI reporting's including NBS-7 and NBFC related certifications. - Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of accounting policies, internal control, accounting standards and procedures - Liasioning with Internal and Statutory Auditors and Finalization of audits a per the statutory timelines - Oversee various financial operations including tax policy, regulatory reporting and compliance, insurance, cash management, internal audit, and financial planning and analysis. MIS and Budgets -&nbsp; - Monthly MIS in the form of Newsletter capturing all Financials and Operating parameters for the given month - Providing periodic data and reports which aids decision making for various Board Committees - Direct and Coordinate financial planning and budget management functions - Analyze and interpret financial reports and make appropriate recommendations to senior management. - Variance reporting as per desired cuts viz Department, Designation, Geographies etc - Interface with technology team for all the automation and identification of Financial software . - Ensure ongoing forecast is correct in terms of revenue, costs etc. - Perform detailed analysis of functional expenses and help in driving cost saving initiatives. Ideal Candidate Attributes: Relevant Experience &amp; Ideal Candidate Attributes: - CA (preferably first attempt)/ CPA qualified or related Finance / Risk Management degree, - 10+ years experience within BFSI domain, preferably with BIG 4 experience KEY COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED: - Candidate must display strong leadership qualities and an ability to influence. - Should be detail-oriented with expert knowledge of IFRS &amp; IND AS accounting procedures and financial reporting practices. - Ability to self-organise and work autonomously. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, ability to develop pragmatic solutions. - Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, to adapt quickly and to manage changing priorities. - Ability to respond to time sensitive activities. - Detailed understanding of financial, operational, strategic and fraud risks. - Strong understanding of IT general controls - Attention to detail - Ability to liaise and work with multiple stakeholders across the business
