Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Accounting:
- Manage a 20+ team accounting organization
- Overseeing the shared service functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll and Consolidation
- Coordinate accounting activities with multi-operational locations and third party accounting firms in US and EMEA
- Re-engineer the month-end close process to continuously reduce month-close cycle
- Develop monthly financial package and review process with senior management team
- Evaluate all significant accounting transactions, research and implement relevant technical standards, and prepare technical accounting memos supporting all accounting positions
- Establish, implement, and monitor appropriate internal controls including developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Lead the annual audit process with the external auditors(KPMG)
- Ensure accounting (especially India) is in compliance with local statuary requirements
- Provide accounting (- US GAAP- ) guidance to other finance team members
- Evaluate all new accounting standards and their relevance on the Company's financial reporting
Tax:
- Manage and support outside tax firms with income tax provision and income tax filings
- Manage various other tax filing requirements, including foreign jurisdiction tax compliance
- Coordinate and manage tax audit
- Work with tax advisors to develop a Transfer Pricing scheme to mitigate bi-directional (India and foreign jurisdiction) tax risks
Financial Report and Board Package:
- Draft annual financial statements, including full footnote disclosure
- Coordinate preparation of various internal and external reports, including Board of Directors reports and investor reports
- Evaluate all new accounting standards and their relevance on the Company's financial reporting
Cash, Expense and Infrastructure Management:
- Manage banking relationships and accounts
- Manage 13-week cash flow forecast
- Work with the Director FP&A to support budgeting and a rolling forecasting process
- Continue to lead ERP improvement efforts in Accounting/Finance

Experience:
- Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of progressive experience
- Prior experience in software, consulting and/or emerging business models of US-based companies
- Proven track record in driving change in a high growth environment
- Extensive experience in achieving scalability and optimizing operations in shared services accounting centers
- Experience with SEZ/STPI compliance, statutory audit and tax audit
- Experience in managing a 20+ team
- Cognizant with US/India transfer pricing schemes
- Knowledge of US GAAP, US payroll and US tax
