Job description
The role covers the entire gamut of end-to-end Finance Management covering areas such as planning, budgeting and financial forecasts.
Roles & responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and financial forecasts.
- Perform a variety of advanced financial analysis to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company.
- Develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the company with target tracking metrics by department and highlight causes of deviation and corrective measures as appropriate.
- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
- Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
- Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations.
- Manage employees and contractors who are responsible for financial reporting and budgeting.
- Periodically review the organization's financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Analyze data and advise top management on how to maximize profits.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth/expansion. Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
- Oversee organization's investments. Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
- Manage and execute fundraise of the Company through angel investors, VCs, PEs and other similar firms
- Funds management of the Company which shall include procurement of long-term loan and working capital funds from financial institutions, capital markets and any other source.
- You shall also be responsible for any other responsibility assigned to you from time to time
Requirements
- Graduation: CA is mandatory
- Post-Graduation : PGDM/ MBA in Finance or similar
- Preferably be from FMCG or retail or consumer brand / D2C background.
- 5-10 years' experience in a financial management position
- Prior experience with audits by Big 4 or similar firms.
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
- The person must exhibit strong commercial and contractual awareness and excellent negotiation skills
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint etc.
