Job brief
We are looking for an experienced, self-driven sales leader for our F&V Exports business. This is a P&L leadership role and requires someone who shall be responsible for overall revenue & profitability targets of the business. Reports directly to the founders / executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Overall sales leader responsible for revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Understand and create opportunities in Global F&V trade import & exports pairs
- Own the business: manage the P&L, cashflow, develop new business models, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them
- Create a network of Agents, Distributors, Pack Houses, Logistics partners across major trade routes & consumption centers
- Develop deep and long standing relationship with customers - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical
- Have an in depth knowledge of competition and vendors and ability to influence the market
- Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions
- Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals
Requirements
- Prior experience in F&V Exports is must
- 15+ yrs of experience in Sales, Agri Commodity exports, Agri business.
- Understands the entire value chain of agri exports and has network of stakeholders at each step
- Large P&L management experience is preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
