Vice President - Engineering - Warehousing & Supply Chain/Robotics Industry - IIT/NIT/BITS

Our client is a specialists who develop and deploy advanced robotic systems at warehouses, distribution centers. They have their operations in Gurgaon.

- Looking for a Vice President Engineering who will handle the companies new product development and also responsible for Quality delivery of products built on cutting-technology across customer industries.

- Looking for engineers from Top engineering colleges like IIT's and who has work experience in MNC's preferably the warehousing & supply-chain industry and who has worked in robotic industry where it improves the operational efficiency of warehouses.

Responsibilities:

- Own the execution of Product Development Lifecycle

- Lead the development of current and new products across hardware and software engineering teams in-line with understanding of customer needs

- Ensure Quality deliverables for products as per global standards within the committed timelines and budget

- Enable a great Engineering culture with the right people, processes and innovation

- Nurture and manage an extraordinary Engineering team of 250+ employees in a multi-disciplinary environment of Software, Mechanical, Embedded, Electrical & Electronics Engineering development and validation teams

- Be an inspirational colleague for CTO, VP Products, VP Operations, Engineering managers and Quality teams

- Support companies leadership team and build a great organization with the right product engine, brand, and culture

- 15+ years of overall experience - significant experience in building complex products as an Engineer, Manager and Leader

- 10+ years of people management experience with 70+ employee teams indirectly. Experience of managing a team of Engineering Managers, Technical Architects, Subject Matter Experts and Engineers for product development

- Experience with a large Enterprise Software Development organization

- Experience of co-creating vision and owning the execution of existing and new products (both hardware and software products is a plus ) in the past

- International exposure via significant working experience in USA
