Job Description - This position will required you to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As a VP Engineer, you are subject to matter expert in engineering who will work closely with and management team to solve any challenging problem. You will working with product team to develop solution and continuous improvement for the customers.

Description

- Have passion and understand in product development life cycle

- Working closely with DevOps to maintain the application in our infrastructure

- Mentoring junior developers to develop their skills and grow their careers

- Understand the core business and improve business process with the help of your engineering team

- Work with your team to build features, improve and clean the code that your team owns Contribute to design decision and review each other's code

- Drive the projects so you can meet the deadline with your team

Profile : 

- Passionate as a problem solver & software engineer

- Love to learn new things

- Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails (best practices, how it works internally, patterns, refactoring)

- Understand to test your code (unit and integration test)

- Comfortable with JavaScript framework: ReactJS or VueJS

- Good understanding with database (structure, optimation, tuning)

- Experience with scaling web application

- Know the basic of Linux administration

- Have some experiences in deploying an app to production environment

- Willing to learn Elixir and Phoenix
