This role is for someone keen on getting in on the ground floor of a startup, with the opportunity to build out and shape the tech function, and work directly with the founders in scaling the business. - An ideal person will have expertise working across technologies like Backend and Frontend Someone has prior experience in building Large scale distributed platforms or Large scale applications preferably from B2C e-commerce/start-up backgrounds will be highly preferred. - The person will own end to end development and operations of high performance web and mobile applications. - Architect and scale the engineering platform to reduce technical issues and improve performance and agility. - Lead a full-stack team of developers (across Front-end, Back-end and Android, iOS), who are passionate about disrupting the industry. - Work closely with Product, Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements on-time. - Foster a culture of innovation. Mentor team members, and ensure that they learn and grow with the company. - Ensure software engineering life cycle best practices are followed. - Closely monitor and guide product releases and updates. - Attract and retain top engineering talent and help to set the strategic agenda for the technology team.
