 Description - Head the technology for a latestage start up in the logistics space and help build innovative technology products to disrupt and gain competitive advantage in the logistics space.

Our client is one of India's crowdsourced delivery platform that supports India's start-ups and other organizations solve their logistics and last mile delivery problems using technology.

Description : 

- As a VP of Engineering, you will have a successful history of building highly scaleable consumer facing applications, motivating strong, world-class teams, applying strategic thinking, and executing effectively to deliver a track record of sustained accomplishments.

- Be hands on to not shy away from coding with the team.

- Mentor and lead the engineering team as a subject matter expert for all technology and architecture related issues.

- Architect, Design, Develop & Implement frameworks and application software components using Open Source technologies.

- Be accountable for the overall technical excellence and quality of the platforms

- Should be proactive and enhance existing software architecture by analyzing and identifying areas for improvement, optimization or refactoring

- Tune applications at all levels database, middleware and application logic to ensure high product efficiency and quality

Profile : 

- B.E/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise across a variety of technology stacks (preferable Java, Django, Golang).

- Proven track record of building highly scaled consumer facing applications.

- Ability to work efficiently with a co-founder mindset

- Strong experience in E-Commerce/Logistics/Fintech product companies.

- Excellent and robust understanding of scalable product system architecture(s), platforms and core technologies.

- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills to pursue correct engineering process in adverse conditions.

- Ability to embrace and demonstrate leadership beyond ownership
