The organization is now exhibition strong international growth and has now bases in the Asia-Pacific, Middle-East, Europe & the North American regions. With expanding business, they are currently looking to hire for the position of VP Engineering based out of Gurgaon.

Description

Reporting to the CTO your key responsibilities will include:

- Own the execution of Product Development Lifecycle in the organization for R&D deliverable

- Lead the development of current and new products across hardware and software engineering teams in-line with understanding of customer needs

- Ensure Quality deliverables for products as per global standards within the committed timelines and budget

- Enable a great Engineering culture with the right people, processes and innovation

- Nurture and manage an extraordinary Engineering team of 250+ employees in a multi-disciplinary environment of Software, Mechanical, Embedded, Electrical & Electronics Engineering development and validation teams along with Program Management

- Be an inspirational colleague for CTO, VP Products, VP Operations, Engineering managers and Quality teams

- Support leadership team build a great organization with the right product engine, brand, and culture

Profile

- MUST HAVE: International exposure via significant working experience in at least USA and Asia

- B.E/B.Tech degree from top tier university & Masters from US

- 15+ years of overall experience - significant experience in building complex products as an Engineer and Manager

- 10+ years of people management experience with 70+ employee teams indirectly. Experience of managing a team of Engineering Managers, Technical Architects, Subject Matter Experts and Engineers for product development

- Experience with a large Enterprise Software Development organization

- Experience of co-creating vision and owning the execution of existing and new products in the past

- Executive presence to contribute to C-level discussions and decisions
