Vice President - Engineering - BFSI - IIT/NIT/BITS

Qualification & Experience Required:

- Seasoned in technology engineering professional. Retail lending and BFSI past experience preferred.

- Ideal fit would be a 10-12+ years Ex-Technical Founder, Founding Engineering Member, Technical Leader who has evolved through various levels in providing technical leadership for high performance teams.

- Build robust, scalable, highly available and reliable systems using Micro Services Architecture based on Java, Spring boot, Python, Django, Angular.

- Improve Engineering and Operational Excellence by identifying and building the right solutions for observability and manageability.

- Keep the tech stack current with the goal to optimize for scale, cost and performance.

- Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.

- Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.

- Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Ideally mix of new age startups, product and Fintech experience.

- Should have developed and scaled tech products in past roles at a fast pace.

- B.Tech/MTech/IIT/PhD from Premium college pedigree must have.

- Experience with Python, Django, or data science toolkits (pandas, scikit, sparkML) is a plus.

- Highly Innovative problem solver, possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational & project planning skills and demonstrating ability to meet deadlines.
