Reporting to the CMD, the VP/Director - Sales will be responsible for the direction and management of sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy for all channels (GT, MT & ON). The VP/Director Sales will drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals. This would be achieved primarily through the following responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

- Responsible for top line and bottom line

- Planning, Budgeting & Delivering the Sales Targets

- Responsible for spends in the assigned channel

- Key Account Management - develop customized solutions for Key Accounts. Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.

- Trade Marketing Planning & Activation in the assigned channel

- Manage entire Sales team and ensure smooth functioning of the department

- Market and environmental scanning, advice on business trends and changes in the market place. Analyse market trends and behaviour to uncover new business and sales opportunities.

- Compile, analyze and present data on competition and the business environment.

- Manage Third Party Stakeholders & Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

- Developing processes and systems for enhancing efficiency in the Business through automation

- Analyse business potential, conceptualise and execute strategies to drive sales, augment turnover and achieve desired targets

- Team development

- Optimise cost and utilisation of manpower and other resources

- Identifying right partners and appointing them as distributors, setting budgets for them, pricing structure etc

- Launching brands into retail in a stable and lasting manner with carefully planned promotions

- Revenue generation and receivable management

KPI:

- P&L responsibility

- Development and implementation of the sales strategy to maintain and drive business growth

Job requirements:

Min. qualification: Masters in Business Administration

Experience: 15 to 25 years

Industry: FMCG (preferably from Foods and Beverages)
