POSITION DESCRIPTION : - Contribute to and propagate the agency culture in the Mumbai office. - Ensure that client relationships lead to excellent creative work. - Ensure that the account team delivers best in class service to clients; that all the conditions are in place to allow creativity to flourish. - Set the creative tone and long-term strategic goals for clients' account alongside the leadership team of the brand. - Provide leadership and professional development to direct reports and be a light touch mentor to other people on the team whenever is necessary. - Be a source of support and advice to creative and planning partners, as well as senior clients. - Adopt an entrepreneurial approach in helping the Mumbai office's growth agenda. - Manage team in a fiscally responsible way; ensuring agency is being paid fairly for the work it does, and protecting the value of its output at all times. - Understand more about client's business at a senior level than anyone else in the building and use that knowledge to create interesting new creative and commercial opportunities of benefit to the brand. - Help win new business. Will report to the President of the organization. CANDIDATE PROFILE : - Postgraduate in business management/ marketing/ communications with 12-16 years in top tier MNC advertising agencies. May have some exposure to marketing as well. - Must be extremely passionate about the advertising business and the impact of the work and culture of the workplace. - Ability to hire and lead teams. - Should have led and demonstrated new business gains. - Comfort in dealing with clients at the decision-making level. - Should be able to provide effective business and team leadership. - Maturity and sensitivity to handle clients, colleagues, and other business associates. - Exceptional written and verbal communication; initiative and follow-through skills. - Strong influencing skills. - Deep comfort with digital and technology. - A deep desire and commitment to always create truly outstanding output. - Well organized, tenacious and possess a positive executive presence.
