We are looking for an experienced VP of Direct Sales to drive all the direct sales channel of the company which include the inside sales and field sales. You will be the P&L owner of the direct sales driving growth of the channel while building the team, managing and optimizing the team performance, measuring all the aspects of sales aligning to the goals of the organization. Following are some of the responsibilities you would be holding : - Identify and execute the sales strategies to drive the expected growth through the sales teams - Build hiring plan and hire the sales team for both inside sales and field sales to achieve the growth targets. - Manage the growth and performance of all the sales staff in your team across the country. - Build incentive structure and plans to make sure sales teams are motivated and continuously chasing the assigned targets. - Build monthly, quarterly and yearly expense budgets and sales strategies aligning to the overall goals of the company. - Work with stakeholders (marketing, product, tech, customer support, channel partners) across the company to help and support your team to achieve their goals. - Build monthly and quarterly sales MIS and share with other stake holders - Have detailed understanding of the competitors and build plans for objection handling with your sales teams What are the skills needed? We are looking for strong sales head with an acute attention to detail, sharp analytical bent of mind, strong people skills and the hustle to make things happen. Apart from the above, the following are the skills / experiences that would be helpful. - Minimum 4 year's experience in the selling role as executive in inside sales or field sales working with CRM software. - Minimum 6 year's experience in the sales leadership roles building and scaling teams. (overall experience 9-14 years) - Proven experience of driving the sales function with end of end ownership - Excellent people skills to manage the sales team mindset. - In-depth, hands-on experience of building the incentive structure for sales teams - Strong communication skills to energize and motivate the sales teams along with maintaining good working relationship with other stakeholders of the company. - Experience in MIS reporting and good excel skills - Great analytical skills and data driven approach in solving problems and optimizing operations. - Strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on - Great presentation skills
