Vice President - Derivatives Confirmation

This is an Individual contibutor role where one would be responsible for :-

- Draft OTC Derivative Trade Confirmations across different asset classes

- Ensure accurate representation of risk bookings, term sheet and ISDA definitions within confirmation

- Partner commercially with internal groups (Sales, Trading, Legal, and Compliance) to draft and execute confirmations, including structured transactions

- Affirm the trade economics with counterparties to mitigate risk

- Ensure trades are getting confirmed with counterparties within regulatory timelines

- Identify and implement process improvements

- Coordinate with Technology and Sales/Trading on systems enhancements and development

- Spearhead the development and evolution of the documentation function in accordance with market standards and regulatory requirements

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

- Strong derivatives product knowledge (experience in more than one asset class is a great advantage)

- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Display ability to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment

- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by working closely with colleagues in sharing information, skills, and responsibilities

- Effective problem solver

- Take actions to ensure that controls are in place and procedures are followed

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills that facilitate strong execution with Sales, Trading, Legal and structuring teams

- Self-motivated team player, ownership, accountability, organizational/prioritization skills, proactive, ability to multitask, ambitious, independent, positive mind set

- Ability to lead and drive process efficiency projects

- Participating on global calls and guiding the discussion to arrive at strategic solutions

- 6-8 years of relevant experience
