Position: Vice President - Delivery Vertical: Telecommunications Experience: 18 to 22 yrs Job Location: Bangalore Roles &amp; Responsibilities: Client Relationship &amp; Business Development - Handles all client engagement aspects through the client relationship owners onshore. - Has engagement and delivery management accountability with a team of members in delivery center operation. Responsible for managing the application management services delivered in the global delivery center for a North America based Telecom major in an outsourcing model - 900+ apps, wide range of technologies, 24 x 7 operations, 600+ members. - Responsibilities include driving initiatives related to member satisfaction, automation, service transformation, continuous service improvement, Client and Onshore relationship management, building service offerings for increased business growth, managing transitions from other vendors to the Company, exceeding satisfaction targets related client/Onshore and members, Managing P &amp; L - meeting targets for revenue, improving contribution margin through cost reduction and operations efficiency - Developing strong relationships with clients during assignments with a view to bring clients additional Company services to help them achieve their goals in partnership with client proximity leadership team - Supporting client relationship and business development activities - Promoting visibility of Company expertise with clients and in the market - Identify, package and showcase service offerings (including reusable assets) to clients - Maintains a working relationship with clients even when not actively engaged on any particular assignment Client Engagement &amp; Service Delivery - Managing the client engagements with the team, meeting the requirements/scope of work through on time, quality, budget delivery and approved financial plans - Contributing to a high level of client satisfaction by contributing to quality &amp; on time solutions - Engaging continuously with the appropriate Business Units - Acting as a Prime point of contact from client engagement perspective for Global delivery work - Driving adoption of productivity/enhancement tools ensuring continuous improvements in delivery efficiency Team Management - Manage a Portfolio of 700 Members across multiple technologies &amp; Application portfolios in Telecom domains - Assigning, recruiting and supporting the career development of team members - Fostering the development of the team's capabilities and expertise in line with client needs and market evolution Operations Management - Leading and managing the operations to achieve targeted results - Responsible for P&amp;L including revenue growth &amp; margin contribution for the Global delivery scope of work Development of Expertise - Developing and maintaining a high level of expertise in and knowledge of an appropriate mixture of professional fields, industries, solutions and technologies - Propagating this expertise and knowledge locally and across the BU- s IT DISCIPLINE Application Management / Application Development / Application Modernization / IT Outsourcing / Use of Digitalization &amp; Automation to drive margin, give back productivity gains, and create new service offerings to generate fresh revenue streams from the account.
