Vice President - Data Scientist - Machine Learning/Python - Investment Bank

Exp: 12 - 20 Years 

 We are currently hiring for one of the leading Investment Banks Globally at a Vice President level for the Data Scientist role. Please refer to the below details:

1. Strong experience in Machine Learning tolls and Python is must.

2. Strong People Management experience - min of 5 years

3. Someone from the Banking/Financial Services only (Investment Banks preferred)

4. 12+ years of overall experience

5. Shifts will be EMEA

Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or any other related quantitative field.

- Experience in a deeply quantitative role in the financial services industry or Fintechs dealing with advanced analytical or machine learning methods

- 7 years of working experience in a data science position, preferably working as a Senior Data Scientist.

- Highly proficient and experienced in statistical and modeling packages such as SAS, Statistica, Matlab, R, visualization and other advanced analysis tools. Expert in data management programming such as SQL, PL-SQL, and Python as well as being familiar with the workings of motion-tracking data and time-series analyses.

- Good understanding of Commercial Banking (loan products), a plus

- Proven and successful experience track record of leading high-performing data analyst teams leading through the successful performance of advanced quantitative analyses and statistical modeling that positively impact business performance

- Solution-oriented, strategic thinker; balances understanding of business requests with delivery mechanisms

- Strong organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects / activities at a given time

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience preparing executive-level presentations

- Operates with a sense of urgency, ability to work under tight and sometimes competing priorities
