Vice President - Data Scientist - BFSI

Managing a team of Data Scientists.

Responsible to do Predictive analysis and help client use existing data to cross sell all financial products and mine the broking customers further.

Develop Statistical Models: Apply advanced analytical techniques such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost regression modelling, time-series analysis, cluster & factor analysis to create different models .

Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.

Desired Profile:

BE / BTech

7 - 12 years of work experience.

Atleast 5 years into similar role.

Experience using machine learning algorithms and strong algorithmic thinking

Good knowledge of statistical techniques. Proficiency in R and good experience with Numpy / Pandas / scikit learn/ Keras / Theano / Tensor Flow (or similar) preferred.

Good knowledge of practical application of multivariate techniques, such as Decision Trees, Random Forest,

XGBoost, Generalised Regression etc across a range of business requirement

Keen interest in machine learning, advanced Python and/or R skills

Ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business point of view

Knowledge of R and Python will be required. Some background and understanding of stock markets will be good to have
