Vice President - Data Architecture - Banking Domain

Your Role : 

Solution Development

- Responsible for creating technology solutions in line with RFT IT and Data Strategy and architecture

- Working with Business clients to gain clarity and understanding of Business requirements to ensure high quality candidate solutions are created

- Works with Project /Programme managers throughout development lifecycle to ensure that outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with agreed designs/solutions

- Ensures delivery of quality design documentation and artefacts that can be used to present solutions to Business and Development teams

Advice & Guidance : 

- Provide advice/guidance to business stakeholders in shaping solutions

- Participate and contribute to peer reviews of other solutioners and from part of broader solutioning community in IIT

- Provide coaching/mentoring of less experienced designers/analysts/developers

Strategy Development : 

- Contribute to and lead on defining RFT IT and Data strategies

- Supports System/project planning activities to ensure interdependencies are addressed

Essential Skills : 

- Strong background and experience in IT & Data Architecture, Data Modelling and Data Analysis

- Experience of working with data and BI/Analytics tools in Big Data and/or traditional Data Warehousing environments (e.g. Hadoop, Teradata)

- Able to lead and mentor and communicate effectively team members

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

- General Risk/Finance/Treasury background (e.g. Accountancy)

- Experience of working with Data/ Risk, Finance applications (e.g. General ledger, Data Modelling, Risk Calculators) in combination with Core Banking customer data
