Responsibilities:


- Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies.

- Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis; which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques.

- Actively involved in developing the Accounting Module of the LMS, i.e; system-based repayment schedules, account statements, delinquencies, foreclosures, etc.

- Build and strengthen relationships with functional leaders in sales, product, growth, risk and collections by identifying areas where analytics could help solve existing problems or strengthen business operations.

- Apply problem solving frameworks to break the complex business problems faced by the BUs and organisation in smaller more manageable problems and translate the business problem in to data and analytics problem.

- Identify various business opportunities and apply analytics to optimise conversions and risk.

- Generate actionable recommendations based on huge platform data and communicate the insights generated by the teams.

- Share reports and dashboards with business stakeholders to empower them to make data driven decisions.

- Manage transformation projects that help to improve top line or bottom line through an analytical solution.

- Be the champion of data and insight led decision making in the organisation and drive change management efforts to bring stakeholders on board.

- Onboarding new partners, coordinating with the Credit Risk Team of the onboarded partners, involved in articulating the mutually agreed Credit Policy.

- Responsible for developing and modifying Business Deck & Management Presentations for Investors & Lenders.

- Developing business projections and its feasibility analysis.

- Finalizing the monthly business figures viz, AUM, Delinquencies, write-off adjustments, income heads, etc

- Developing Analytics, Static pool, Collection efficiency, portfolio cuts, drop outs & conversion analysis, etc.

- Driving monthly sourcing strategy, factoring projections and historic channel-wise performance i.e., Volume and CAC aspect.

- Engaging with Lenders and providing them with the requisite data in order to obtain sanctions.

- Monitoring the process of month-opening delinquencies, factoring collections/ overdue of previous month.

- Analysing the payment behaviour of the customers, in terms of salary date, payment dates, average bank balance, etc.

- Co-ordinating with Credit Bureaus for getting additional data points for delinquent and non-contactable customers.

Qualification & Experience Required:

- Seasoned data science and analytics professional. Retail lending and BFSI past experience preferred.

- Minimum 7 yrs of work experience in data science, data analytics profile.

- Ideally mix of new age startups, big data analytics and Fintech experience.

- Should have developed and scaled robust data analytics models, predictive engines, KPI dashboards etc.

- Should have an Analytical mindset, i.e., previous exposure should contain something like Analyzing Business numbers, Delinquency, Management reporting, etc.

- MS PowerPoint & MS Excel capabilities are must.

- CA/ MBA from a Premium college pedigree must have.

- Specialization in marketing, risk, digital and AML fields possible.

- Deep domain expertise in financial planning and analytics, creating forecasts, and driving business insights.

- Good knowledge of latest Analytical practices & machine learning techniques in the industry.

- Highly Innovative problem solver, possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational & project planning skills and demonstrating ability to meet deadlines.

- Good networking skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Excellent skills to analyse available business opportunity
