We are looking for Vice President (Credit team) for one of the leading Financial Group for their Bangalore location.

Job Profile :


- Lead the Business Support Team in Bangalore conducting key monitoring and reporting tasks on behalf of GCIB. Working closely with the Origination and Portfolio teams within GCIB as well as Business

- Support London to provide valuable support in ensuring GCIB adheres to the terms and conditions of its transactions both internally and externally as well as assisting them on various internal processes from a credit admin perspective.

Key stakeholders in this role are - GCIB, Credit and Finance.

Types of tasks the team will be responsible for:

- Data input for borrower rating shells (exposure amounts, certain flags ticked/checked, deadline for approval and various other fields to be input)

- Daily downloads from our Credit system (GCARS), save down files of approved credit applications and borrower ratings and make necessary updates to reports

- Daily emails to individuals informing them that they have a credit application or borrower rating to
circulate

- Regular chasing/reminding to Relationship Managers that a task/action is upcoming or overdue

- Regular chasing of overdue covenants to Agent Banks

- The completion/update/submission of various reports (such as exposure/utilization reports, due date control reports, rating/share price trigger reports and branch reports)

- Variable Interest Entity (VIE) reporting - Review of Financial Statements (Balance Sheets) of our customers to obtain Total Asset and Paid in Capital amounts and input these figures on to a report

- Other tasks as assigned

Position details:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategic Development:

- Align the role of the Business Support Bangalore with the strategic direction of Business Support and GCIB

- ensure the sharing of best practice on policy/procedures

Operational Management:

- Implement and/or maintain processes/procedures and standards for the team to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.

- Contribute to ongoing process improvement activities by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy and collaborative working.

- Manage the workload and the team in order to be flexible to undertake any ad-hoc exercises/reporting as assigned

- Ensure work from the team is completed accurately and within the deadlines

Customer/Product Development:

- Manage internal and external relationships to ensure that the stakeholders see the Bank as a trusted, professional partner.

Governance, Risk & Compliance:

- Represent Business Support at internal forums as required and contribute to discussions in order to promote efficiencies and more effective working practices Management

- Provide leadership ensuring that all team members are clear on what is expected and how they are performing against key performance indicators. Ensure they are trained for their roles and afforded appropriate development opportunities.

- Hold regular one to ones and conduct performance reviews with all direct reports

- Plan, manage and control resources to make sure that the right resources are allocated to the right opportunities and work flow is effectively managed
