About the Company:

Our client is a Singapore domiciled startup established with an objective of disrupting the Fintech space in India and other parts of the Asia Pacific. Starting with India, the Company expects to create multiple world-class businesses in the mid-long term. The Founder & CEO has been a pioneer in the mobile commerce space.

The company is in the process of launching 2 new businesses which are:

1. A cloud based SAS platform for payment collection to small, mid and large size enterprises

2. A mobile based consumer lending platform

About the Role:

Position: Vice President - Corporate Development

Location: Mumbai, India

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

The company on the basis of initial customer feedback and field trials is embarking an aggressive growth plan for the next 18 - 24 months. Though currently well funded, the company is seeking to raise additional funds through equity and debt. Therefore, seeking to appoint a senior professional who would act as a strategic partner to the founder and the key focus for the incumbent would be capital raising with a long term view. In addition to fund raising the incumbent would be responsible for financial re-engineering, new investments/ M&A, inorganic growth, risk management, etc.

Role Requisites:

Knowing the position description, we are seeking for professionals who have had strong fund-raising experience with the following requirements:

- 10-15 years of overall experience

- Fund raising experience

- Should have worked with a quality I-Bank/ PE fund

- Preference would be people with an entrepreneurial / start-up experience
