Overview : The incumbent will be responsible for the development and coordination of employee communication activities in support of Global Service Centres ( Headcount 7000+). Most of this workforce are based in sites across the Asia-Pacific. In this role, the incumbent will: - Drive employee awareness, understanding and engagement and the Group's priorities - Encourage visible leadership and dialogue from stakeholders, directing conversation with colleagues on the most relevant and meaningful topics - Manage platforms that enable employees to discuss, challenge and contribute ideas that help embed a culture of collaboration and innovation - Support the delivery of organisational change across the organization - Work as part of a COO Communications team of five based in London and Hong Kong, and as part of the broader Communications team. -The incumbent is expected to act with a high degree of autonomy in respect of their day-to-day work but to align their activities with the global framework and escalate to the leader in case required -Needs to act decisively in a complex global environment with potentially conflicting priorities that require integration and alignment across diverse cultures and disciplines - This is an Individual contributor role (IC) Requirement : Proven track record in developing, managing and implementing effective communication strategies. - Cultural appreciation of the needs of different audiences in different markets - Ability to contribute strategically to the overall communication response to key campaigns, projects and issues. - Experience managing a wide range of internal stakeholder relationships including by matrix and virtually - Experience leading communications during periods of significant change within an organisation - Ability to understand business issues and devise communication solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues. - Able to work in an ambiguous environment, prioritise and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex issues. - Exceptional writing ability, able to develop copy for different platforms (intranet, scripts, speeches).
