Vice President - Corporate Actions - Bank

Opening with the multinational universal bank and financial services holding company for VP - Corporate actions.( US Shift)

Vice President for Asset Services- NAM will manage and supervise processes across locations - Mumbai & Bangalore. Lead diverse teams responsible for corporate action processing activities supporting Prime Brokerage & Firm businesses. This individual will additionally drive a robust change and resilience agenda which includes an overhaul of firm wide Asset Services platform, and the integration across up stream & downstream.

This individual will be required to deliver a risk focused control agenda supporting all corporate action processing from Mumbai / Bangalore office while managing internal and external reviews of business, ensuring resilience for clearance of breaks and claims activity, developing deep ties with all Operations and BU stakeholders and ensuring F2B support of new business. In addition to these core responsibilities a Vice President in this role will also:

- Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions.

- Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team.

- Deploy data and research to drive cross-business corporate prioritization.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.

- Form and lead internal teams, providing training and mentorship as needed.

- Directly and indirectly manage staff with the goal of enhancing professional development and personal growth.

- Manage relationships with business & key stakeholders.

- Participate in the site risk agenda accountable to Local Head, playing a role in the regions Risk and Control Self-Assessment strategy.

- Participate in site resiliency strategy efforts with a focus on outage management, business continuity and alternative processing methods.

- Actively drive silo and firm agendas around corporate action optimization in all F2B programming

- Continually drive opportunities to optimize foot print ensuring best in class support across all locations

- Face off against all auditors and regulators in region ensuring annual program adherence and support of regional securities law

- Drive a continued vision on Asset Services metrics and breaks/fails management across the firm from day to day management to executing organizational strategies.

- Act as a global culture carrier. Develop and retain talent at all levels of the organization while providing leadership support within PB-COA in India.

Qualifications/Skills:

- Relevant experience & understanding of corporate action lifecycle across markets/events.

- Strategic vision with the ability to execute

- Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity

- Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client / desk interactions

- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills

- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education and Experience Requirements -

- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field

- MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred

- Minimum of 15 years' experience leading high-performing teams

- Previous project management or business development experience a plus.
