Vice President - Corporate Accounting
Education Criteria : Only Qualified Chartered Accountants
Responsibilities :
- Team management and leadership
- Managing a team of appx 10 strong CA's/finance professionals. This may increase as we grow further
- Self -motivator to develop future leaders within the team
- Managing monthly/ quarterly/ yearly close process
- Role will include -Expense accounting, analysis, BS accounting and reporting
- US GAAP accounting
- Fixed Assets - managing the entire life cycle of the assets- processing subledger additions, monthly and ad hoc journal entries, A/P voucher corrections, account reconciliations, and preparing support for analysis of capitalized costs
- Reconciliations - Intangible, Goodwill & Deferred Rent and other account reconciliations
- Managing other monthly corporate close processes for domestic and international entities, acquisitions including running system processes in the accounting system, preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, running expense and non operating income allocations, and preparing other files and analysis to support operating expenses, foreign currency revaluation, and more areas
- Providing support and interacting with groups outside of the corporate accounting department, such as external providers for audit requests, fund accounting teams for billings, and other business groups within the organization to validate coding, allocations, and other information
- Assisting/ leading in ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
- Intercompany-Review and approving of entries and recording of offsetting entries including posting the invoice.
