Vice President - Contract & Procurement - Real Estate

Contracting & Procurement Strategy : 

- Develop and deploy an effective procurement strategy in line with the overall organization strategy. Over all responsible in structuring, implementing and controlling the contract management. Drive the implementation of SOPs for all activities of the Contracts Team including defining TAT's for all the activities to ensure consistency & standardization of Contract related activities.

- Develop framework and guidelines for standardization of contract document; Ensure adherence to the same. Drive timely initiation of tendering activities as per the predefined milestones of the project; Ensure timely completion of the end-to-end contract award process.

- Build a standardized approach that works across the companies- procurement value chains.

Manage purchase : 

- Monitor deployment of procurement strategy leveraging on economies of scale and cost saving realizations wherever appropriate. Control and manage a robust RFI and RFP process for strategic sourcing needs.

- Vendor Management/Development and Strategic Resourcing Partnerships

- Floating Tender document to short listed contractors for quotations. Chairs pre-bid meetings with vendors and ensure resolution of their queries; Ensure submission of their offer in a timely manner. Review the responses submitted by vendors to ensure consistency and comprehensiveness of the responses; Ensure submission of complete responses in a timely manner. Review & approve the responses to the queries of the bidders during the contracting process to the Project budget and investigate any discrepancies by competent authority. 

- Develop strong partnerships & supplier relationships within the team and through continuous business improvement plans. Oversee the process of identification and empanelment of strategic partners and vendors. Build a book of new and existing suppliers as required refreshing the same based on performance and alignment. Help resolve SLA breaches or issues based on contractual commitments with empanelled vendors.

- Qualified in allied disciplines like engineering or materials management

- Should have done high value contracts for project management, services for maintenance / modifications / expansion projects for SAP environment.

- Manage relationships and ability to work with partners and vendors building effective relationships and long term commitment from the supplier community

- Knowledge of materials management in the real estate

- Understanding of the various by-laws and time-tested contracting & tendering processes, Ability to effectively manage inventory.

- Knowledge of basic financial management, forecasting and budgeting.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

- Excellent negotiation skills.
