Vice President - Compliance - Life Insurance

Purpose:

The jobholder has the responsibility to ensure that organization has appropriate compliance framework to ensure compliance of all applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Main Priorities:

- Formulate, implement compliance policies and ensure adherence.

- Monitor compliance policies and procedures, and escalating any exception to the senior management.

- Formulate and implement appropriate remedial measures to prevent re-occurrence of the same.

- Set up systems and processes.

- Advise management team on compliance issues and risks pertinent to life insurance business.

- Impart compliance training to enable employees to understand their legal, regulatory and company policy responsibilities.

- Establish, implement, and maintain compliance manuals. Ensure adherence to these manuals.

- Manage the accurate and timely preparation of compliance reports required by the Audit Committee, Joint Venture Partners or the Regulator.

- Represent the Company before the Regulator in relation to regulatory or compliance related discussions for formulation of new laws and regulations.

- Assist in conducting due diligence and support in execution of new ventures.
