Job Purpose - The purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with the laws applicable on Bajaj Capital group. The role incumbent is expected to ensure timely compliances, renewal of registration with Regulatory bodies, keeping the organisation updated about the changes taking place in regulatory arena from time to time, co-ordinate & guide other functions with respect to regulatory & compliance matters.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Compliances of Companies Act and other applicable Acts
- Drafting & preparing of notices and agendas of Board Meeting, Annual General Meeting and/or any other meetings of core companies including Bajaj Pharma
- Compliance with other statutory requirements from time to time
- Compliance with Annual Filing of the company and its group companies
- Undertaking audit on a periodical basis (on various compliance requirement of regulatory body) on the activities of the Company
- Compliances with respect to the Registrar of Newspapers in India for the magazines in BCICL
- Dealing with regulatory and other bodies for the complaints, misuse of brand and related matters
- Inter-Department monitoring and co-ordination
- Maintaining cordial inter-department relationship and cater to their requirement on a timely basis.
Key Projects : Assisting in Legal Due Diligence to be conducted for the fund raise activity.
Others :
- Assisting in drafting various policies of the company
- Improving the level of Corporate Governance and Compliance in the organisation
Qualification :
- A member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (L.L.B preferred but not mandatory)
- 17-25 years of work experience
- Strong drafting, written and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Companies Act and Secretarial Standards
