Vice President - Collateral - BFS

VP-Collateral Management :

This is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team of ~30 FTE to process exchange of collateral on behalf of our clients. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery / receipt of collateral error free with minimal manual intervention.

Responsibilities :

- Manage performance of the collateral teams activities thereby contributing to the financial and non-financial goals of the business

- Providing detailed analysis on escalation when necessary and should come up with resolution

- Implement process improvements, service enhancements, or technology enhancements

- Develop & implement business plans, policies, procedures that offer solutions and cost saving opportunities affiliated with Collateral

- Ability to solve complex problems, designing best processes / system to ensure Best-in-class and the firm of choice for bank clients

- Coordination with internal and external clients to assess service quality & identifying improvement areas

- Own the overall quotient of the team

- Nurture new/junior staff and help them assimilate into the culture

- Contributing larger site by leading / participating in the workgroups

- Driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct & business practices, escalating, managing & reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of relevant experience

- People management experience

- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

- Master's degree preferred
