Seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual for the role of Vice President of Clinical Operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the identification and preparation of clinical trial sites, hospitals, and medical professionals to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in research coupled with extensive operational experience, enabling them to effectively manage all aspects of clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and assess potential clinical trial sites, hospitals, and medical practitioners for suitability and readiness to conduct clinical trials.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness across all operational aspects.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of operational clinical trial sites.

- Oversee the end-to-end execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to timelines and budgets.

- Drive business development initiatives to expand the organization's clinical trial capabilities.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the clinical operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications: Needed for the role

- Candidate is from an ophthalmology background is preferred.

- Proven track record of success in clinical research and operations management.

- Extensive experience in identifying, preparing, and managing clinical trial sites.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines governing clinical trials.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

- Prior experience in business development is desirable but not mandatory.
