Hiring for a Global Bank - VP Client Service Manager

Role Description -

Relationship & Transaction Management (RTM) team in Corporate Bank is the Center of Excellence for Client Service/Front office roles and is the central hub for nearshoring Corporate Bank business for APAC region. This team ensures delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to Corporate clients of the Bank.

As part of Trade Finance team in RTM, the role involves rendering top quality support to corporate clients for transactions related to Trade/Trade Loans/ Supply Chain Finance, Conducting product-based training for clients and session/demos on our applications, Setting up/ service of supply chain Finance module & Risk Management solutions.

Your key responsibilities -

- Leading and guiding client Service team in managing relationships with clients to ensure their Service requests / complaints / etc. are addressed in timely manner.

- Work with senior bankers on analysis and development of transaction ideas, structuring of solutions for trade finance & discussions with clients for enablement of these solutions

- Promote digital solutions and enable implementation of these solutions to corporate clients

- Work with infrastructure partners on KYC related activities

- Engage with stakeholders for compliance and Audit requirements

- Work closely with TF operations, Product and Compliance to streamline processes, facilitate MI and Analytics

- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Sales colleagues in developing product solution, taking into consideration UCP, URC, ISBP, URDG and other technical and regulatory requirements.

- Exploring and providing solution to client's complex requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Self-managing client High level escalations by speaking to client's senior stakeholder.

- Conducting periodic Service review with clients and work on their feedback to improve client experience

- Maintain positive and proactive interaction with internal stakeholders.

- Accountable for upholding company vision and values statement.

- Challenge the status quo and adaptability to change, balance with strong team spirit and strict compliance culture.

Your skills and experience :

- Desired background: MBA Finance / CAs with more than 10-15 years' experience in Trade Finance roles (across LC, BG, Import - Export docs, Financing, structured products, supplier finance, etc.)

- Comprehensive knowledge of Banking products in general, and Trade finance in particular

- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills

- Driven and motivated to work under tight timelines

- Extremely diligent and hardworking to efficiently manage deadlines across multiple transactions

- Excellent skills in using MS Office - Power point and Excel

- Managing and leading Trade Finance Service teams will be an added advantage

- Experience in customer service especially in handling large corporates and multinational companies, devising MIS, running initiatives within a complex organizational structure and people management experience
