Urgent opening with one of the leading Investment bank : Location : Mumbai Designation : Vice President Responsibilities -&nbsp; The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of individuals covering Settlement related functions within the wider Cash Settlements team. The successful candidate is expected to become a Subject Matter Expert in their function and provide support to the director group.&nbsp; Primary responsibilities include : - Escalation point for issues and discrepancies with external and internal counterparties. - Daily oversight and monitoring of team functions - Managing a team of individuals to include career progression and future development. - Investigation and resolution of Client fails - Subject Matter expert for function and product covered within the group. - Analysis of current processes and identification of process/system to increase efficiencies - Supporting applicable Change the Bank and Run the Bank Projects impacting the team, from inception; providing SME support, testing and monitoring into Production. - Client and Business Unit relationship management - Participation in industry forums where applicable Skills required (essential) : - Experience within a Settlements or applicable product related role - Strong People management skills with proven ability to lead and motivate junior team members - Ability to work across Global stakeholders - Focus on Innovation and process efficiency - Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills - Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast paced multi tasking environment - Proactive and self-motivated - Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Skills desired : - 10+ years of experience within Settlement operations - Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) - Strong product knowledge (Equity, Commodities, FID &amp; FX) - Flexible to work across Asia and EMEA time zones.
