Vice President - Capital Reporting role for Big 4 Global Investment Organization The position is within the Capital Reporting Regulatory department of Finance. The group is a service-oriented business comprised of specialized individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to our regulators. The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls. The regulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority ("PRA"), Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") and the Bank of England. - Preparation of monthly, quarterly and biannual returns for the following solo regulated entities and their associated UK consolidation groups. - Daily monitoring and preparation of capital adequacy and large exposures reports for the above entities. - Interpretation of the Regulatory rules which forms the basis of PRA reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business. - Partnership and supporting other Finance areas with other reporting requirements (e.g. recovery and resolution, ICAAP) Shift Timing: 1.30 to 10.30 Primary Responsibilities: - Review and sign off on Capital Returns to be submitted to the PRA - Review and sign off on Capital Adequacy Reporting - Strong hold on the end to end book of work of the team and end to end life cycle of Capital Reporting - Maintain a good working relationship with the London team to ensure a one team dynamic - Leading Projects that impact Capital returns and able to articulate and highlight the full impact of the projects on the returns. - Able to demonstrate understanding of all manual adjustments posted to the regulatory returns. - Able to add value to the process in terms of building enhanced controls, identify areas of process automation. - Provide career pathing support to the team and able to troubleshoot add provide guidance to the team. - Lead and Partner across teams on locally driven initiatives. Desired Candidate Profile: - Chartered Accountant/ MBA with 10+ years of experience preferably in Regulatory Reporting / Capital - Good academics and strong knowledge of Capital Concepts - Strong control mind-set. Analytical skills. - Ability to multi-task under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality. - Has prior experience of managing a team delivering Capital Reports. - Good Communication and organizational skills including partnering skills and proactiveness. - Enthusiastic, with a positive can do attitude - Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Outlook. - Investment banking product knowledge including derivatives, equities and debt securities.
