Our Client is world's leading banks and provides its clients with investment banking, private banking, and asset management services worldwide. They are hiring for VP- Capital Adequacy Reporting to be part of their global banking team

The candidate will lead the UK Capital Reporting team in India covering the preparation and review of Regulatory Returns to the PRA The candidate will be managing a team of 12 to 15 people

Core responsibilities of the Capital Reporting :

- Preparation of periodical reg. returns for systemically important Legal Entities in UK. The activities include Daily monitoring and preparation of capital adequacy and large exposures reports, etc.

- Interpretation of the Regulatory rules which forms the basis of PRA reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business.

- Partnership and supporting other Finance areas with other reporting requirements (e.g. recovery and resolution, ICAAP)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Review and sign off on Capital Returns to be submitted to the PRA

- Review and sign off on Capital Adequacy Reporting

- Working closely with legal entity, regulatory, treasury, risk and finance team of day-to-day activities and support them with adhoc requests.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of UK Basel III capital requirements and regulatory reporting requirements

- Ensure preparation and execution of close process for RWA and Regulatory capital production and effective communication and coordination with other actors involved in the close process

- Ensure consistency of exposures between the Accounting and the Risk or other source systems for calculation of RWA

- Strong regulatory & financial reporting knowledge prevalent in banking/financial institutions

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 10-12 years of experience in banking within preferably in Regulatory Reporting / Capital

- Good academics and strong knowledge of Capital Concepts

- Has prior experience of managing a team delivering Capital Reports.

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

- Strong Analytical and problem solver person.

- Strong stakeholder management skills
