We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Business Strategy & Investments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPOs), and cultivating strong relationships with private equity (PE) investors and venture capitalists (VCs). Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in organizational finance and have previous experience working with Big 4 auditors.

Responsibilities:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

- Lead and oversee the company's M&A strategy, including identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, and negotiating deal terms.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to execute M&A transactions efficiently and effectively.

Initial Public Offerings (IPOs):

- Evaluate the feasibility and readiness of the company for an IPO, including preparing financial statements, regulatory filings, and investor presentations.

- Coordinate with investment bankers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to navigate the IPO process from planning to execution.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize the company's positioning in the capital markets.

Relationship Management with PE Investors & VCs:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with PE investors, VCs, and other financial partners to source investment opportunities and support fundraising efforts.

- Collaborate with investment partners to evaluate investment proposals, negotiate terms, and structure investment deals that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Organizational Finance:

- Provide strategic guidance and leadership on organizational finance matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure sound financial management and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Big 4 Auditor Collaboration:

- Utilize previous experience working with Big 4 auditors to facilitate seamless audit processes and ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

- Coordinate with auditors to address audit findings, resolve accounting issues, and implement best practices in financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements:

- MBA from Tier 1 college in Finance, or related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business strategy, investment management, and corporate finance roles, with a focus on M&A, IPOs, and investor relations.

- Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and navigating the IPO process.

- Established network of relationships with PE investors, VCs, investment bankers, and other financial stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of organizational finance principles, financial analysis, and capital markets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

- Previous experience working with Big 4 auditors and familiarity with auditing standards and procedures is preferred.
