Description:

- Organisation is seeking a Vice President for Business Strategy team. The position will play a key role in driving enhancements to the Strategy program - a top strategic priority for the firm - across multiple lines of businesses in locations globally. The program is focused on optimizing our work-force in strategic global locations, including consolidating into world-class corporate centers of excellence that enhance our client support, employee satisfaction, productivity and controls, while optimizing operating costs.

- This role will primarily focus on strategic projects related to the program. Strategy projects blend workforce strategy across all lines of businesses & global operating model design with global real estate planning & optimization.

- The team is seen as change agents to drive, align and enable businesses achieve their global resource and location strategy goals and deliver quantum impact to the firm. The ability to solve critical business problems along with the diverse backgrounds of individuals distinguishes Strategy professionals from the rest. Some of the strategic projects/engagements (not exhaustive) include:

- Evaluating new/existing labor markets

- Evaluating impact of geo-political events and design of risk frameworks and mitigation strategies

- Defining, designing and driving cost reduction initiatives (e.g. reducing fragmentation, occupancy costs etc.)

- On-Shoring & Off-shoring analysis

Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership :

- Own- end-to-end projects, lead problem-solving approach and define frameworks to solve the issue

- Design, structure, and - own- quantitative and qualitative analyses

- Identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and quantify potential bottom-line financial impact across work stream

- Synthesize impactful findings, develop recommendations, and write documents independently

- Present recommendations to senior management

- Cross Functional Leadership

- Advise and influence stakeholders on key business decisions and change efforts

- Plan and effectively lead LOB/ functional interviews, workshops, and focus groups

- Deliver senior client presentations, with ability to recognize and incorporate feedback

- Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders

- Work with extended team and mentor junior members of the team not in direct reporting line

Qualifications :

- MBA or an advanced degree from a top-tier program is preferable

- 9+ years consulting experience with a top-tier management consulting firm or an internal consulting / corporate strategy team

- Global location strategy, RE strategy, workforce strategy or financial services experience is preferred, but not mandatory

- Highly analytical with experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data

- Ability to structure a variety of problems, apply analytical tools to develop solutions and storyboard them for effective presentations

- Strong stakeholder and partner management and executive-level communication skills

- Ability to work well within a team and partner with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels

- Ability to work independently in an individual contributor capacity while mentoring other team members and developing new team(s) over time

- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other office applications
