Our client is a large MNC Bank with presence across multiple geographies across the globe, as well as in India. With a focus on expanding their presence in India, an excellent opportunity has come up as VP - Business Management, for their setup based in Gurgaon.

Description

- Providing direct support to the Global Head of Investment Banking Operations

- Driving process improvement initiatives through liaising with various stakeholders. This would require prior experience in Investment Banking Operations

- Preparation of materials for monthly business reviews and Product aligned steering committees, including follow-up of actions to closure

- Analysis of progress against strategic and financial objectives

- Ownership of the annual financial plan and allocations processes providing regular updates to key stakeholders

- Accurately forecasting expense trends through the financial outlook and driving expense reduction initiatives to achieve budget targets

- Management and forecasting of headcount, identifying risks to headcount targets and managing those risks

- Driving employee engagement through execution of the People Strategy

- Execution of the communications strategy, providing consistent messaging across the organization and embedding our strategic goals in the mind-set of the organization

- Engagement of key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Finance, HR and Products

Profile:

The ideal candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

- Experience in Investment Banking Operations and working in a process-driven environment

- Experience in interacting at senior levels and ensuring credibility is maintained through strong delivery against commitments

- Experience in working within a heavily controls-focused environment

- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
