A leading,extremely well funded B2B2C edtech organisation is looking for a VP - Business Finance
The VP, Business Finance will play a critical role in helping the company achieve their mission by providing strong partnership to the business team.
Responsibilities :
- Key stakeholder in delivering business growth by partnering with CCO and CFO. Top business performance targets to be achieved :
a. Number of schools signed up
b. Annual Contract Value & Revenue
c. Revenue per Student and Pricing
d. Collections
e. Contribution Margin on the B2B business
- Drive LTV:CAC targets of the business
- Enable decision making on sales channels to invest in by looking at by channel productivity
- Marketing payout analysis for decision making on investment
- COGS & Supply Chain target delivery
- Lead thinking on pricing for different product lines and ensure business compliance with agreed pricing.
- Oversee and manage spending in line with agreed budgets for the business team
- Design and implement strong collections and recovery plan
- Monitor business performance and highlight deviations with recommendations to course correction
- Create dashboards and reporting to enable quick review and decision making
- Use technology to set up strong and reliable processes to automate
- Drive high accuracy and reliability of data to ensure appropriate decision making
- Support in Business Due Diligence during fund raise
- Partner with other Finance leaders to set up a strong finance function within the Company
Requirements :
- MBA Finance with 12-15 years of experience or/and CA with strong business finance experience
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, CRM systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to multi-functional team.
- Strong business partnering and collaboration skills.
- High degree of proficiency with technology and ERP systems
- Experience of partnering with business and delivering business results
- Experience of working with Sales & Marketing teams
