Introduction : The Client is well known in the Indian and Overseas Markets as manufacturers and exporters of Chucks & Machine Tools along with Fully Finished Forged and Graded Casting Parts being supplied to Major OEMs in Tractor and Automobile Industries in India. The client is considered as one of the best manufacturing units, having in-house advanced technologies to develop and manufacture various Casting, Forging & Machined Components.
Key Roles & responsibilities:
- This role will be expected to bring clear understanding of competitor area of working and ensure incremental business growth year on year for SCM
- Understand needs and build strong client relationship in all product lines. Interact with clients / companies and business owners to analyze and develop a robust business model for SCM. Drive focus through SWOT analysis and take informed decisions.
- Draft Proposals and Agreements by analyzing client business / functional requirement. Work with the SCM legal and Finance teams in drafting, reviewing and formalizing all commercial arrangements and contracts.
- Give presentations about the organization products to target new brands and clients during face to face meetings
- Build Process and Policies for the entire Business Development function of the organization
- Creating a brand image for SCM through seminars, trade shows, advertising strategies, word through magazines, newspapers, digital platforms etc.
- Manage the complete budget and ensure there is no exceed in budget during the operational financial year
- Meet and exceed financial and strategic goals and objectives set by the Management
- Work with the Managing Director to ensure achievement of business targets.
- Establishing and maintaining high level of communication and interpersonal relationships.
- Planning, Organizing and managing abilities
- Develop, coach and lead
- Monitor and MAINTAIN reports as per requirement to provide necessary information
Key Requirements:
- Candidates must be an MBA. An additional engineering degree will be an added advantage
- Any other additional qualification / certification in production / quality will be an added advantage.
- Should have business development experience in Auto and auto components.
- 15 - 20 years overall experience, with at least 10 years heading Production of a unit or multiple units
- Excellent presentation /communication skills
- Functional knowledge of sector and its competitors is mandatory
