VP Business Development (Machinery reselling E-com) Organization: - The organization provides highly innovative equipment leasing and value added solutions to the MSMEs and healthcare segment in India. It manages an online e-com platform that offers various equipment, services and solutions in the B2B segment, specially with respect to equipment. - One of the verticals it is building on the platform is re-selling of used equipment. Through its expertise in underwriting the equipment, the expertise and the infrastructure it has built to recycle and re-lease the equipment, they plan to become India's largest used machinery platform. - The current role is for VP Business Development and Sales to build out the entire used machinery marketplace/e-com business. - Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Business Development strategy - Market mapping for potential targets - Developing innovative business development initiatives to tap the market - Build adequate systems and processes that will enable scaling of the business model - Take up leadership role to build out the entire business unit 2. Business Development & team building - Building execution plan to roll out sales and business development efforts in identified locations and segments - Build and manage sales teams - Working with the technology team to enable seamless customer experience - Preparing various budgets and take initiatives to achieve the targets - Expand the business model rapidly across the country, across various sectors Other Qualities : 1. Integrity, honesty and high level of ethics 2. High energy and enthusiasm 3. Good command over financial numbers and explanation of financial benefits etc 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 5. Team player 6. Expected to travel extensively across the country Education : 1. Graduation in Engineering 2. MBA in either marketing or finance post engineering is preferable 3. Work experience of 5 years and above
