Vice President - Business Analyst - Reg. reporting

Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate strong understanding of regulatory reporting and related domain

- Demonstrate understanding of regulations with complete scenario coverage from the different party viewpoints.

- Understand the reporting requirements and be able to drive requirements on the basis of it.

- Work with various stake holders to arrive at the current state system data flows

- Suggest the future state data flows to source.

- Create Data requirement document covering all aspects of data sourcing

- Provide functional expertise in design of the ETL processes for onboarding of feeds to reporting data store

- Create functional specification document detailing the data sourcing solution keeping in mind the ETL architecture framework

- Conduct walk-throughs to validate the Data requirement document, Functional Specification document and other supporting artifacts with all the stakeholders

- Work with Technology team, Operations Teams, Architecture group and other work streams with in the program to obtain sign off

- Capture defects raised during various BRD reviews and ensuring timely closure

- Create presentation and training packs in support of the designed process

- Perform analytical review of the Technical Design document relevant to the data sourcing

- Provide support to testing and the RTB teams in test execution and planning from data sourcing perspective.

- Managing a team of Business Analysts.

Experience :

- Overall 15+ years of experience primarily in finance and Investment Banking domain

- Strong experience in business and functional analysis

- Strong knowledge of data modeling and system data flows

- Excellent knowledge of regulatory reporting and capital market products

- Prior working knowledge in regulatory reporting space will be added advantage

- Good understanding of ETL processes and tools

- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

- Superior analytical skills

- Good understanding of project life cycle.

- Prior People management experience.
