Vice President - Business Analysis - Market Risk - Investment Bank

Investment Bank is looking for VP BA -Market Risk with Change management experience

This role is for a Business Analyst for a Market Risk Dashboard and Reporting programme of work. The role sits within the Change function.

The role will involve the detailed analysis of current business processes and reports and the development of the Market Risk Dashboard and business / regulatory reports that meet business drivers and are compliant with BCBS239 requirements.

Role

The successful candidate will be a Market Risk Business Analyst focusing on the following:

- Represent Change function as the Change BA / Product Owner within an Agile environment.

- Participate in Programme Increment (PI) planning meetings with RFDAR, MLRM, IT and subject matter experts to agree scope and objectives for business deliverables.

- Assist in the definition of reports and wireframes for business teams

- Participate in delivering tactical and strategic business solutions

- Participate in UAT and support the writing of test cases

You Offer:

- Degree level education or equivalent experience

- At least 5 years Market Risk IT or Business Change experience

- Understanding of VaR calculations, sensitivities and market data

- Basic knowledge of the trade lifecycle

- Strong technical background preferred

- Confident, assertive and effective communicator

- Team player along with being independently driven and motivated

- Delivery focused

- Highly analytical

- Ability to network and influence, strong collaboration skills

- Ability to gain consensus when faced with differing views

- Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities

- Excellent documentation skills

- Understanding of the full development lifecycle

- Be comfortable presenting scope interpretation and requirements to Business, Business Change and IT teams
