Main purpose/Role:
- To function as P&L head for the business vertical - full line brands, makeup and skincare.
- Identify, evaluate, and build new business prospects.
Accountability:
- Strategize, set goals, lead teams and drive processes for increased productivity and growth.
- Manage a team of experienced professionals to achieve revenue, market share, profitability and other strategic objectives.
- Establish a culture of collaboration and integration that enhances revenue and cost optimization & supports innovation and creativity.
- Overseeing strong workforce development, employee satisfaction and engagement, maximizing growth potential of employees.
- Maximize operational efficiency to accelerate growth.
- Responsible for top-line /bottom-line.
- Ensure plans are developed, implemented and monitored in conjunction with relevant cross functional teams and aligned with the Global brand strategy.
- Drive all aspects of the brand's strategy, including business plan review, purchase planning, A&P, forecasting, inventory management, launch planning, L&D, marketing and communication.
- P&L responsibility for the vertical, accountability for meeting growth targets.
- Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop plans for adapting existing portfolios to new business opportunities.
- Drive new technologies to enhance business portfolio and optimise business processes.
- Formalise new business agreements and JBPs with identified partners, suppliers and vendors.
- Formulate targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with business development strategies.
- Lead relationship building with industry players and develop strategies to leverage network for business opportunities and partnerships.
- Lead the department's financial budgeting process to acquire funds for the department's activities.
- Drive corporate governance measures.
- Manage key brand relationships and build new ones.
- Lead identification of opportunities to optimise business processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with equal-level counterparts within retailers and suppliers.
- Managing financial integrity of the cosmetics & skincare division; managing targets, managing expenses and budget changes.
- Collecting benchmark and KPI data, analysing trends and developing strategies based on metrics to help new product development as well as drive brand goals.
- Collaborate with internal support & operations, product development, marketing and sales teams and other related activities, which have a direct impact on brand awareness, growth and profitability.
- Hands-on in Human Capital Management, hiring, training & mentoring highly engaged team members, always seeking to offer opportunities to the right talent to upgrade their professional & soft skills.
Professional Profile: Visionary, result-oriented professional with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in beauty and retail with high proficiency in Brand Building, Buying, Sales & Distribution, Innovation, Product Development, Go To Market strategies coupled with Operational excellence across Skincare, Cosmetics, Perfumes, Wellness, Lifestyle, Retail & Travel Retail Industry.
