Trade Finance - Architect (VP Level)

We are currently assisting a Premier Bank for multiple positions within their Trade Finance Technology team within their C&IB Tech Organization in Mumbai.

- Should have good exp. in Workflows

- Should have good exp. in Integration aspects

- Should have good exp. in MULE and Messaging etc.

- Should have good exp. in Component Architecture, Integration and Security

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop software solutions from requirements gathering through architecture; coordinate development, testing, tuning, deployment, and maintenance operations

- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, application developers and systems technology experts.

- Ability to work well at a conceptual level, and to drive concepts out into workable solutions.

- Co-team with the Application Development lead to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements

- Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the business users

- Translate system requirements into software architecture and design specifications

- Architect, design and develop a range of technical solutions in support Trade Processing systems

- Ability to oversee and mentor less-experienced team members

- Adhere to the JP Morgan internal Technology Architecture Standards.

- Provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure mitigation of identified security vulnerabilities are implemented

- Work proactively with new and emerging technologies through research and development efforts and assist teams in driving technology changes within the organization

Qualifications :

- 12 + yrs of strong architecture experience encompassing implementations in Java, services, and integration technologies like Mule, Websphere MQ stack etc.

- Should have expertise in some of the following technologies: J2EE frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Workflows, Mule, Apache server, Tomcat server and Database technologies (Oracle, SQLServer, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)

- Designed and built concurrent, high throughput web services based on deep understanding of the performance impacts of alternative threading architectures

- Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns

- Experience in implementation of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution

- Experience in Trade Finance domain is desirable

- Strong teamwork skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
