Vice President API Sales- Pharma


- Looking to connect with specifically Sales Professionals from only APImanufacturing Industry with must have prior experience in international API Sales for a Director/VP/President positions with an API Pharma Lifesciences client for the New Delhi location.

- Must-Have Professionals from specifically Pharma Lifesciences Industry from the Sales functional area only, NOT OPEN TO the operational functional area for this role.


- The ideal candidate will manage the overall sales of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.


Responsibilities:

- Take lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together

- Make key decisions that will affect the company's direction

- Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace

- Scout the market landscape, identify potential opportunities and Build Strategies for tapping those avenues. Along with the growth in APIs / Intermediates, tap growth in contract manufacturing, specialty chemicals, etc.

- Scout for further growth in the present 90 + markets, including US / Europe / ROW

- Deliver on those strategies.

- Take the organization from the present 30 % EBITA growth to a bigger growth number, with more emphasis on bottom-line growth over topline growth.

- Plan for Balanced kind of growth - derisk business - spread risks between contract manufacturing, APIs, Intermediates, Speciality Chemicals, etc..


Desired Candidate :

- Should not be over 54 years of age.

- Should have served in a position of P&L responsibility in an organization of at least 400- 1000 cr, in API / Intermediates space.

- Should be good at visualizing strategies and execution.

- Can give direction to the team. Should be people are driven ; a coaching practitioner, not a dictator. Should be able to take people along.

- Should be soft-spoken and humble in behavior and be able to manage the egos of different stakeholders,

- Should have experience in managing teams of 700-1000 ppl.

- Should be Ethical in behavior ; non-negotiable, with no taint of any financial/ethical misconduct

- Proactive in approach ; should anticipate emerging challenges and plan ahead.

- Ideally should currently be from the revenue generation side of the business.

- Should be Compliance driven.

- Should have the API industry knowledge and grasp over GMP Compliance: US / Europe

- Business exposure to markets of US/Europe/ ROW
