Description - Opportunity to lead the AML portfolio of a large global bank.

Client Details :

Our client is a leading global bank and is looking to hire a VP who would focus on all aspects of AML analysis within different projects across Scenario Development, Threshold Tuning, Segmentation as well as conducting independent validation of AML models and optimization of the transaction monitoring system.

Description :

While reporting to the SVP, you will be responsible for :

- Scenario Development, Threshold Tuning, Segmentation as well as conducting independent validation of AML models

- Preparing statistical and non-statistical data exploration and advanced statistical analysis to support the threshold tuning or segmentation work streams

- Leading delivery of data-driven analysis and create reports

- Designing and maintaining complex data manipulation processes

- Managing a mid-sized team

- Maintaining an industry leading knowledge of the tools, systems and processes available for best in class AML Detection and Monitoring Operations

Profile :

As a successful candidate you need to have :

- 10+ years of experience in Analytics Industry

- Experience with statistical modelling

- Mantas and AML monitoring systems experience or other transaction monitoring systems

- Previous team management experience in Analytics Industry

- Previous experience with financial services companies (retail banking, small business banking, commercial, institutional, private banking)

- Knowledge of the local/regional laws and regulations applicable to anti-money laundering

- Expertise in tools like SAS, R and Python

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization and through different business units
