About the role: - Our client a leading global bank in Bengaluru is looking for a VP for its AML Client Screening team responsible for performing screening &amp; monitoring clients against news media articles / politically exposed person (PEP) lists on a regular basis to negate any potential AML / franchise risk associated with doing business with them, do Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Sanction watchlist and related functions.&nbsp; - The candidate will execute daily controls, ensure timely escalation, documentation of policies &amp; procedures and be a part of system enhancements and process controls. Skills : The suitable candidate should be a tenured VP for at least 2 years and have 11+ years of overall experience in the financial service industry preferably in Law/ Compliance/ Risk &amp; Control function.&nbsp; - Leadership experience of managing large teams (20-30 members) is preferred.
