JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position Title - Vice President - Advanced Automation & Robotics
Location - Noida
JOB PURPOSE :
To lead Process Automation and Robotics practice embed in Business automation and robotics capabilities and build offerings for Clients ensuring non-linear revenue enablement, margin uplift, revenue protection, new client deals influencing and industry mindshare.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
1. Advanced Automation & Robotics solutions Delivery
Domain aligned Robotics Process Automation (RPA) opportunity in Business Operations
- Lead opportunity identification in offshore business and embedding in- house proprietary AA&R tools and solutions and partner provided technologies
- Lead innovation and packaging of domain centric AA&R solutions, addressing end- to-end automation needs in the process value chain
- Lead business case development & mgmt. recommendations
- Build Methodology driven approach for cost effective delivery of AA&R solutions to Business and Clients, upholding ROI / margin uplift projections
- Establish ongoing Delivery strength for AA&R implemented for business and Clients through effective service delivery regime
Interface/Liaison with Business, Frontend and external clients
- Lead RPA solutioning for new business opportunities, clearly articulating the transformational business impact by embedding AA&R
- Drive change management with internal business teams and Client business and IT teams
Develop ecosystem of partnerships & alliances
- Lead partnership engagement with industry providers of RPA and Advanced Technologies providers, drive GTM and
- Deliver margin uplift, revenue protection and influence new client wins
- New AA&R offerings
- Joint capability co-creation initiatives
- Drive uptake and adoption of AA&R initiatives in business through capability evangelization and showcase internally, and drive externalization through Industry Analyst and forums
- Build / Maintain effective rigor Industry connect, outreach in forums, white papers and thought leadership
Financial Management :
Financial Planning and Reporting for Automation and Robotics portfolio
- Lead pricing discussion with finance to build financial engagement models with Client to accommodate business impact of automation and Robotics (Outcome/ Transaction based, Gain-share, etc.)
- Prepare Investment Forecast as per the Business-IT capability enablement roadmaps in Business
- Track and report revenue and margin impact/ revenue protection from automation and robotics capabilities
- Strengthen the rigor and governance for automation and robotics portfolio, tracking budget utilization and driving optimization initiatives
People Management :
Build and mature the Automation & Robotics practice
Ideation and Delivery aligned Organization Structure & Leadership development:
- Talent augmentation and development through training & cross skilling & new hiring
- Resource Management for optimal utilization
- Draw talent development strategies for in-house SME & leadership talent
- Succession Planning
- Attrition Management
MAJOR CHALLENGES :
- Needs to have good orientation and understanding of BPM business models (FTE, Transaction/Outcome based etc.)
- Robotic process automation needs to have good understanding of solutioning techniques based process engineering models
- Also need to have very good understanding one or more industry RPA software platform
- Strong understanding of Automation solutions in BPM industry
- Knowledge of Business Vertical/domain processes

- Financial Management: lead business case identification through Proof-of-Value showcasing, Drive decision on investment prioritization based upon TCO/CBA

- Talent Management: Leadership onboarding, Skill augmentation, Succession planning

Educational Qualifications :
Graduate with accreditation/certifications in Business Process Automation, Business Process Management, IT Applications, Delivery Management
Functional Skills :
- Knowledge/Understanding of business verticals like Insurance & Healthcare and F&A,
- Strong domain understanding of IT Platforms, Delivery methodologies, Products and tools
- Ability to partner and engage with Business Leadership in key Verticals and Domains
- Capability to establish Program management office and drive multiple project engagements, Manage concurrent priorities for
- Presales solutioning engagement, delivery and go-to-market initiatives
- Experience of consultative IT pitches and create client value propositions for existing Technology products and services

- Strong consultative sales skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding entrepreneurial environment
- Able to lead market/competitive landscape research, conceptualize/envision Services Portfolio for platforms/products within a given vertical/domain, and apply the said research insights to enhance the packaging and value proposition of platform services business
- Ability to independently interface with business and clients for their requirements, opportunities and solutions; as well as grow a team to sustain the engagement and delivery
- Experience of managing a large team of experts from disparate Technology and Business domains, based out of multiple geographical locations
- Out of at least 5-6 years in managing application development and another 6-8 years of end-to-end delivery management (including scoping/requirement gathering, planning, resourcing and supplier management, cost/budgeting, implementation management and adoption for a large enterprise)
