Role Summary: - The Vice-Chancellor is the academic and administration head of the University, providing institutional leadership and oversight, driving the mission, strategies and advancement of the University and acting as the principal ambassador and the chief representative of the University. - The Vice Chancellor is part of the leadership team of the University and coordinates with the academic, academic-related and non-academic units of the University. - As part of the leadership team, the Vice Chancellor provides the executive leadership along with the Chancellor and be part in the overall planning, organizing, and controlling of the academic program &amp; non-academic areas. - He will be responsible to develop and plan institutional and academic programs, budgeting and resource allocation; supervises staff development programs; monitors personnel actions and transactions; and participates in academic personnel policy development and negotiation. - Long term planning for the university; Positioning of the university; Achieve rankings in various ranking frameworks.
