- Assessing project bankability, financing options for projects, creating financial models and managing financing processes. Inter-alia this would involve supporting business development function to evaluate PPA counterparties, negotiating and structuring of PPAs to make them bankable. - Activities will generally focus on project financial analysis and derived thereof on determining whether a project is bankable or not. For that purpose, the Analyst must have skills in financial and business analysis, business strategy, operational effectiveness, and ideally legal structuring. - The analyst will be assigned with specific responsibilities in the process of raising project financing for a renewable energy project. This would mean interaction with the lenders and co-ordination with internal departments to facilitate lenders due diligence. It would also involve obtaining internal approvals for the terms and conditions obtained from lenders. - Post credit approval, the analyst will also assist in legal documentation and CPs compliance to facilitate timely draw-downs. Thereafter, the analyst will own the transaction and will proactively monitor and submit compliances required as per the project financing transactions. - Assist in obtaining credit ratings for projects and issuance of bonds in India and overseas. - Provide timely MIS and other project financing related information to management. Experience &amp; Qualification: - MBA in Finance or equivalent from a premier school in India/abroad - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role with a reputed sponsor or lender Desired Profile: - Higher academic education. - Three years or more of similar work experience. - Analytical skills, financial modelling ability, including working under pressure. - A real desire to work hard but flexibly in a very entrepreneurial environment with sometimes stressful agendas. - Ability to synthesize and simplify complex input data. - Proactive thinker with business experience working with teams, and capacity to interact at all levels, team player. - Independent thinker with business experience working with teams at international level. - Proven successful track record of efficient execution. - Readiness to travel. - Capacity to interact at all levels. - A believer in sustainability and the need for a better and more transparent world with a strong sense of ownership. - Proven successful track record of efficient execution and carrying out of general and specific tasks. - Fluency of the English language: editorial skills to write reports, project or investment proposals in English. - Believer in sustainability with a strong sense of ownership.
